JEAN NOUVEL

Jean Nouvel, born in 1945 in Fumel (France), is an internationally renowned architect. A graduate of the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1971, he co-founded the “Mars 1976” movement and developed a unique approach to architecture, guided by place, time, and history, beyond any fixed style. Among his iconic achievements are the Institut du Monde Arabe and the Fondation Cartier in Paris, the Agbar Tower in Barcelona, the Louvre Abu Dhabi, the National Museum of Qatar in Doha, and the Duo Towers in Paris. He has received numerous prestigious awards, including the Aga Khan Award, the Golden Lion of the Venice Biennale, the RIBA Royal Gold Medal, the Praemium Imperiale, and the Pritzker Prize in 2008.
